Outdoor Kawartha Outdoor Kawartha wishes to showcase the beauty and nature of the Kawartha Lakes to its tourists and locals by allowing them the chance to slow down and be immersed in nature with our kayak and SUP board rentals. We have kayaks and stand-up paddle boards available to rent hourly and daily from Garnet Graham Beach Park in Fenelon Falls across from the Splash Pad Saturday, Sunday and holiday Mondays. The LEX annually hosts the Lindsay Exhibition, the fourth-largest agricultural fair in Ontario. Located in a historic Gaol built in 1863, the Olde Gaol Museum is much more than a jail – full of fascinating stories and unique regional artifacts. Visitors will tour an historic county jail and learn what life was like for those that lived and worked here, while also exploring a dozen other exhibits within the museum.

Lindsay Golf and Country Club
Lindsay Golf and Country Club course is recognized as one of the finest championship courses in the Kawarthas. The architect, Graham Cooke, designed a layout that seamlessly blends parkland holes with traditional links. The golf course features rolling fairways and small, fast greens that demand accuracy. There are several sand traps strategically placed around the greens and water comes into play on half of the holes in the form of small and large ponds. Five sets of tees allow golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the course; and never tire of the challenge.

Ken Reid Conservation Area
Kawartha Conservation has five local conservation areas featuring events and activities perfect for visiting in all four seasons. Located just outside of Lindsay, Ontario, Ken Reid Conservation Area is a 110-hectare (272-acre) property that provides protection to forests, meadows, and the provincially significant McLaren’s Creek Wetland. There are 12 interconnected trail loops that total almost 12 km. There are two boardwalks – a favourite destination for hand-feeding birds – as well as an accessible viewing platform overlooking the marsh. Amenities include a playground, picnic shelters, a group camping area, and an off-leash dog park.
